National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Names Board Member
With a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a juris doctor from Syracuse University College of Law, Christopher Stender has served as an immigration attorney for more than two decades. He has provided services pertaining to family immigration, work permits, and business visas. To help him stay current with changes made to immigration law, attorney Christopher Stender belongs to several related organizations, such as the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL).
The NACDL encourages all members of federal, state, and local government to provide justice and fairness to all Americans. It also aims to provide due process for those accused of wrongdoings, and compassion for witnesses and crime victims.
In May 2015, the NACDL announced that it elected a California-based lawyer to its board of directors. Martin A. Sabelli, who has his own law practice and is a former federal public defender, is a lifetime member of the organization. He was honored with the recognition at the NACDL’s 2015 spring meeting held in Las Vegas.
